HASTI is providing a one-day professional development opportunity for Indiana teachers to take their learning about the NGSS standards to the next level. These standards are based on the Next Generation Science Standards published in 2013. During the one-day event Indiana teachers will lead break-out sessions that lead teachers through NGSS lessons, so they can experience what it looks and feels like in action! In addition, time will be provided to dissect the new standards and develop ideas, phenomena, and pedagogy targeted to update Indiana science classrooms.
Indiana/area science teachers and commercial vendors are invited to submit a proposal for the conference. If you have experience in using NGSS in your classroom, your expertise is needed. Submit your program proposal for one the following strands.
