Eco-Science Challenge
Applications for project submissions to be judge and eligible for awards is April 8th. If teachers or students are interested in just showcasing a project, they can reach out to Nicole Rife, Director of Education, at nrife@indianamuseum.org.
Tinkerfest is a daylong celebration of curiosity and creativity! Explore 15+ hands-on, interactive activity stations hosted by the maker community designed to engage and inspire Indiana’s designers, builders, coders, artists, makers, and tinkerers of all ages. Each activity invites children and families to tinker, make, invent, create, play and imagine! We are looking for students that might have an engineering, robotics or other makerspace type project that they’d like to showcase and share with families and visitors to the event. We also want to promote the event itself for families to visit the museum that day.
The ISM has an exhibit from the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum called How People Make Things which is all about manufacturing of every day objects. It’s geared toward elementary students and a great interactive exhibit. Here is a link with more information. https://www.indianamuseum.org/experiences/how-people-make-things/
